Sometimes I remember, and sometimes I just forget.
有的时候我可以记住，有的时候我会忘事儿。
This morning I remembered to brush my teeth,
but I forgot to make my bed.
今天早上，我记得刷牙，但忘了铺床。
I put my dishes in the sink after breakfast,
but I forgot to put the milk away.
吃过早餐后，我把盘子放到了水池，但是忘记把牛奶拿走了。
I almost forgot to feed puppy, but he reminded me.
我差点儿忘了喂狗狗，但是他提醒我了。
I didn’t forget to water the plants.
They looked fine to me.
我没有忘记浇花。
我觉得它们长势喜人。
I didn't forget to feed the goldfish.
He just didn't look hungry.
I'll do it now, Mom.
我没有忘记喂金鱼。
它看起来不太饿。
我马上喂它，妈妈。
I got ready for school.
I even got to the school bus on time.
我做好了去学校的准备。我也准时到了校车站。
But I forgot my lunch box.
但是我忘记我的午餐盒了。
Mom brought it to school for me.

After school, I went outside to play in the rain.
I remembered to put on my rain slicker.
放学后，我在雨中玩了会儿。
我记得穿雨衣。
But I forgot my rubber boots.
但是我忘记穿橡胶雨鞋了。
When I came inside for a snack, I didn't forget to take my boots off.
I left them on because I was going right back outside.
我进屋吃零食的时候，忘记脱雨鞋了。
我没脱雨鞋是因为我一会儿还要再出去。
I had cookies and milk.
I was just going to eat three cookies, but I forgot to count them.
我吃了饼干，喝了牛奶。
我原本计划只吃三块饼干的，但是我忘了计数儿了。
I didn't forget to shut the refrigerator door, though.
I just wasn't finished eating yet.
我不是忘记关冰箱门，我还没吃完饭而已啊~
When Dad came home from work, I was supposed to get hispaper.
I didn't forget – the puppy got it first.
爸爸下班回家的时候，我想给他拿报纸的。
我没有忘，但是狗狗先叼走给爸爸送过去了。
I know it's time for bed. I didn't forget.
Of course I'll remember to pick up my toys when I'm finished playing with them.
我知道睡觉的时间到了。我真的没忘。
当然了，我也记得玩儿完玩具后要收好。
I took my bath and remembered to wash behind my ears.
我洗澡了，也记得清洗耳后。
I didn't use soap, but I didn't forget to.
I just don't like soap.
我不是因为忘记了才没用香皂，
而是我真的不喜欢香皂的味道。
I guess I did forget to pick up my toys.
我想，我忘记把玩具捡起来了。
Did I forget to turn off the tub, too?
我是不是也忘记关水龙头了？
But there is one thing I never forget.
但是有一件事，我是绝对不会忘的。
I always remember to have Mom read me a bedtime story.
And I always remember to kiss her good night.
我记得要让妈妈给我念睡前故事，给她一个睡前甜甜的吻。
